hey there!

I'm Madison. I live in the best city in the world and hangout with people in love for a living! It's a pretty sweet combination.

When I'm not eating wedding cake or running around Manhattan with a freshly married couple, you can typically find me...

Brunching it up with friends (usually bottomless, sorry not sorry!), jamming to some Maggie Rogers, working on an assignment at my favorite coffee shop, or planning my next trip out of the city.

a bit about me

I moved to New York City when I was 19 years old. It was hands down the scariest and best decision of my life. Don’t be fooled, though! The city life was toootally not the norm for me. I was 100% born and raised in the Midwest. Like, full-blown cornfields and a Bob Evans on every corner. Lo and behold, this ended up being the place that I fell in love with photography and launched my business back in 2017. It wasn’t long before I was dying for something new, and it only took one summer to pack up my life and make the move. Now I run my business out of my tiny apartment in Brooklyn, take the subway everywhere I go, and absolutely eat way too much avocado toast.

LET'S CHAT!

my heartbeat

I serve couples who are unapologetically themselves and want that to show in every little piece of their wedding day.

If you're looking for a photographer who truly values that insanely special love you and your boo have created together, I'm your girl.

the deets

Before I'm your official third wheel, let's get to know each other a bit.

Here are a few fun facts you should know about ya girl behind the lens.

My full name is literally Madison Must. It seems like I've heard every pun in the book at this point - but if you've got a good one, then you should totally send it my way! By the way, "Madison Must Photo" was definitely NOT intentional.

Cincinnati, Ohio was my home for years before I moved to NYC. As much as I love poking fun at the Midwest, it's actually quite the artsy lil' town. The Queen City was the place where I found my passion for art, small business, and chicken & waffles.

I had never attended a wedding before I started shooting them. Seriously! Once I realized that I could eat cake AND get paid? I was hooked.

I'm still a full-time student! When I'm not shooting weddings or editing at my neighborhood coffee shop, you can almost always catch me working on some homework (single tear). I'm currently finishing up my bachelor's degree in Small Business Management at Miami University of Ohio.

If you're a personality test junkie, lemme speak your language for a minute. I'm an INFJ, Enneagram Type 1, and a Capricorn. To translate, this means I'm that weird type of human that loves to work and go full Marie Kondo on my apartment every weekend.

If you know me, you know my love for Mexican food is seriously on another level. My taco delivery guy knows me by name and always greets me with a high five. If you're having Mexican at your wedding, you've officially got yourself a new best friend. And please don't even get me started on those Chipotle rewards points.

My ultimate guilty pleasure are Lifetime movies. Like the reeeally shitty ones that are so bad they're good. It's pretty embarrassing but if you know, you know!

Alright, I'm just gonna come out and say it: I'm a cat person! Controversial, I know. But don't get me wrong. If you put your pup in a bow tie at the wedding or bring them along to your engagement sesh, I'll definitely shed a tear behind my camera.
